Did the Laziness Bug bit you lately? Oh, if you have been writing and publishing content for quite sometime, chances are, you have already bumped into this bug.

Once this bug bits you, you can’t lift a finger to fire your keyboard. Writing becomes a bore and your creative power seems to melt.

It’s okay to just wait. But what if you need to produce some stuff to sell? Aghh!

Well, why don’t you try digging some old wells? I mean clicking some old folders in your hard drive to look for some content you have previously published or sold.

If you have a published an ebook before, why don’t you turn this into an audio version? Have somebody read the contents of your ebook and turn it into an MP3 file. If you feel that your voice is enjoyable to listen to, then there’s no need to go to elance.com or guru.com to outsource the reading of your content.

This time you have two versions of your content. The first one is the ebook and the second one is the MP3.

(Do you know that there are people who would prefer listening the contents of the book than read them?)

You then repackaged the product. Create a new ecover for the ebook and the MP3 file then sell the two versions.

You can even offer the MP3 file as a stand-alone product. Voila!

I’m talking about getting into and riding the fastest jet to becoming wealthy in the 21st Century. And that is digital information publishing. Or should I call it Digital Content Publishing?

We are fortunate to witness history’s most exciting times. And YOU now have the chance to get into this industry where the barriers to entry are exceptionally low and the growth potential is unthinkably high.

One area of Digital Content Publishing is marketing products based on ideas. We have special reports, ebooks, teleconferences, special reports, etc. as examples.

While selling hard and tangible goods such as computers, cameras, flowers and jewelry still dominate the scene, a big factor which contributed to its trade is the information about those products. That is publishing information about those hard goods.

Because it is extremely easy to start businesses based on these, I would say it is THE ultimate vehicle for becoming wealthy in the 21st century.

Think of the business we are in. Selling information. Selling special reports. Signing up as an affiliate. Publishing content and attracting advertisers.

Thinking of making money online?

Just this morning, Liz Tomey emailed me about a brand new package of resale rights products. I know Liz for sometime now and she has delivered tremendous value to her customers.

The present resale rights products available in the market are already so old and extinct, that it would even be a shame to give them away. So when I saw the package at http://www.resalerightsmachine.com I just had to check it out.

Unlike most of the products offered for resale, these products have never been released before. The brand new package is only limited to the first 300 people.

The products are in different niches. Consider this:

There’s a product about Alzheimer’s disease, super foods, outsourcing, digital photography, credit score, niche domination, etc.

If you are at a loss of what products to sell, try this package.

One secret that successful internet marketers have is being the first to sell the product. Don’t wait till the products have flooded the market.

With this brand new package from http://www.resalerightsmachine.com you have several chances to make money with many different products. The package includes 12 products, and an awesome bonus that gives you access to one of her live online workshops.

It’s an insane amount of high quality products for the low price you have to pay, and if you can’t at least make your money back with these products, you should probably just turn your computer off and find another way to make money!

So, if you’re ready for a change, and want to actually get products that can make you some money instead of cost you money, I highly recommend http://www.resalerightsmachine.com

I just don’t see how this deal could get any better!

I wouldn’t tell you to BUY THIS BRAND NEW PACKAGE, that’s your decision. Click here.

I should say shop and find your niche.

If you still can’t decide what niche you’ll start with, take time off from your computer and head towards your favorite shopping mall.

Go straight to the bookstore and dash to the magazine racks. This could be your best place to look for a profitable market.

You know what? The most profitable markets have their own niche magazines. Look, health magazines, golf magazines, personal improvement, etc.

If you like the health niche, go get that magazine. If possible get the back issues for the past six months.

Scan the magazines and look for possible opportunities. You’ll be shocked as your brain starts kicking into the dozens of ideas popping.

Go through the magazine’s classified ads. What are they offering? Were they advertising in that same magazine six months before? Chances are, it is a profitable niche.

You may read my post on how to find what people want.

Have you recently raided your downloads folder and took a second look at those eBooks?

My guess is that heaps of the ebooks in your hard disk could be about affiliate marketing, adsense, membership sites, adwords, blogging and the myriad of other make money from home subjects.

When you are new and clueless in internet marketing, you get distracted to every other eBooks and programs or courses that pop in front of you.

You may have downloaded truckloads of ebooks offered for free and some you paid for.

Have you studied them? I guess not.

But if ever you have studied some of them, have you implemented what was written?

I know. You have not!

There is no indication that the amount of information shoved into our hungry minds would ebb.

Overload? Yes, because we keep on amassing them.

Don’t add another ebook in your downloads folder.

Dust off that good one. Hey, by now you already know which one is good.

Read, understand and implement.

Start with a losing market and your dead!

Putting the market first almost always guarantee you to make money online. I made 3 articles on this subject:

How to find what people want

How to find a profitable market

YOU want more! Right?

Well, Terry Dean shared this interview with a coaching client who has profited from 17 different markets. Repeat, 17 different markets. If you don’t know Terry, he’s a former $8 an hour pizza delivery driver who went to earning a high six figure online income without any employees. He went full-time on the internet way way back in 1996.

Terry is one of the guys I admire together with Jimmy Brown and Ryan Healy. They don’t hide their religious convictions. And among the few that can be trusted online.

The interview is about a virtually foolproof method in choosing slam dunk markets. If you’re into basketball, you know what is slam dunking, an almost impossible to block shot.

Here’s what I lifted from the salesletter:

7 Ways to Find products that are ALREADY selling in the marketplace…know before you start if there is money there.

Exactly where to look for FREE to find out just how much online interest is in that subject.

Whether to choose a tiny little niche or a mass market product (Here’s a little hint: Contrary to what many marketing gurus may tell you, he is currently involved in both!).

A simple method of finding mass market best selling items just waiting to be shared with the online world.

How to become a marketing mindreader where you know in detail what your prospects want to buy even before they do.

How to launch a product profitably from day one, because you have the heartbeat of the entire market.

The exact numbers to look for to determine a profitable market for YOU (Yes, that’s right - what you want may not be right for me).

How to Not get faked out by the competition - Like any good poker player, they might not be showing you their whole hand.

The good thing about this MP3 interview and transcript is that it’s only 7 dollars. A trip to the pizza shop would cost more and even add more transfat to your body.

You can even sell this product and get 100% commission. (Was it Jonathan Leger who invented the $7 script that made this 100% commission much easier?)

What do people want? This has always been the eternal question of marketers. Knowing what people want would blow away each and every marketer. Just look at the amount of money and effort marshaled towards market research.

Now, these websites provide us a view of people’s wants, needs, and desires. This is unprecedented in human history wherein we can peek into what people really want. Surveys and polls may provide us with answers but we know that the response of people to surveys is quite different from what’s really playing in their minds.

Some of these sites may not be new to you but who knows if you have really dug dip into these sites. So here they are quickly:
1. 43 Things

I start with this site simply because it’s my favorite. Members answer the question “What do you want to do with your life?” As of this writing 1,261,552 people in 13,804 cities responded and wrote down what they want to do.

Tons and tons of ideas of what people want to do. “learn to cook” “write a book” “exercise more” “learn to make layouts” “visit Italy” are some of the things that appears. Just keep on refreshing the page to generate new ideas.

2. Amazon Magazines & Newspapers

I would say the world’s biggest online bookstore is also the world’ biggest newspaper and magazine store. Checkout what’s hot in the magazines.

Also, you can browse amazon’s most wished gifts.

3. ASK Top Searches

The Amazon competitor. A list of top 10 books on every subject imaginable.

The site has a tremendous amount of information on how-to topics. You can browse what particular topics people are interested in.

9. Hobbies List

Poker, golf, naruto, fashion, spyware, Halloween are listed as among the movers and shakers. Check the site.

12. Meetup

Whatever your interest. Wherever you are. The site tells you precisely what topics are hot and what topics are growing. I didn’t know that the 60’s music is in the top list of growing topics followed by adult swimming. Great info here.

13. Shopping.com
What else? Are you still surprised? The site starts with a question: What are you shopping for? Popular topics include shoes, computers, electronics, home and garden, health and kids.

14. Wikipedia List of Hobbies

The site that dominates the Google search results. The enemy of SEO experts. Wikipedia. Hundreds and hundreds of hobbies are listed. Dare to know what is herpetoculture? How about falconry? Or GPS drawing? Try this site.

Can I forget Alexa’s number 1? Yahoo buzz lists the site’s top overall searches. It also has a list of leaders and Movers.

Talking about trends. BlogPulse is asking what’s the buzz? The site identifies the subjects, topics and issues that are extremely hot in the blogs.

A good site deserves a second mention. But this a different page. This time the site is giving away the number of people with every popular goals.

How much of the 85% clicks your site depends on whether you are on the “super hot area” or on the “hot area”.

Page 1 gets 85% of the Google Traffic. That is, if the keyword, for example is “make money at home” which gets 24,443 searches monthly, page 1 captures about 20,777 of those.

How much of the 85% clicks your site depends on whether you are on the “super hot area” or on the “hot area”.

The top 3 results fall under the “super hot area” while the top 5 results under the “hot area”. The “super hot area” (boxed in red above) captures 60% of the 85% page 1 visitors mentioned in our example above.

From the above example, this would amount to 12,477 visitors per month which would likely click on any of the top 3 spots (super hot area).

Now, how many will click the top 1 spot as against the top 2 and 3? The information available varies as the clicks are affected or influenced by how good your TITLE is.

Example, if you’re on the bed mattress niche and you’re on the top 1 and your TITLE is “welcome to the bed mattress site” and I’m number 2 and my Title is “Get your FREE report on how to choose bed mattress!” which site do you think the visitor will click? The top 1 or 2?

What I’m driving at is the importance of getting to page 1 of Google. (Visitors coming from search engines are mostly targeted traffic). While it is now extremely hard to get that position in the main keywords, you can get to page 1 by optimizing for the long tail keyword phrases.

Long tail keywords are those 3-5 phrases which are extremely specific to whatever you are selling, promoting or writing about.

Oh, by the way, this site, www.grandstart.com is on page 1 (number 9) of the keyword phrase “make money at home”. Not on the “hot area” yet but it also gets some traffic from wanderers.

This site also draws traffic from the tons of long-tail keywords associated with “make money online”, like “how to make money online”, “how to make money”, “start to make money online”, etc.

Funny, but yes, clogged drains do make money online. At least in this case I’ll talk about. I’m referring to http://fix-clogged-drains.com. Genius! I admit I have never bumped into this keyword in my months of doing keyword research.

Clogged drains. I wonder how he (William Farrell?) thought of this extremely targeted niche. Was it because of his wife’s incessant nagging to fix the messy drain? Eureka! I found it! Maybe those were the words that raced out of his lips.

What can we get out of this? That there are still niches out there waiting for you to catch them. And this guy is pretty quick in snatching the domain of the keyword phrase, “fix clogged drains”.

He simply noticed a need, (Didn’t I tell somewhere that the foundation of a successful business is finding a need then filling it? Or finding a problem then offer a solution?) then checked his keyword tool (maybe), registered the domain name, slapped some contents, placed some Google ads, drove traffic, and bingo! The site earns about $20 per month (got this info from one of the forums).

$20 may not be big money for you but it’s a good start, and it shows that you can really make money online. How about repeating the process and making tons of websites? 10 sites would fetch $200 per month. 30 sites have a potential to make $600 per month. Got it?

In adsense, it is easier to make $20 per site per month than making $600 per month on one site. That’s in my experience, I don’t know about you. But of course there are some exceptions like Markus Frind with his site http://www.plentyoffish.com which reportedly makes $10,000 a day, repeat A DAY! in 2006. $20,000 this year? Maybe.

I don’t like his niche, (and I won’t give it my precious link) and I would not go into that niche of matching people, but the point is, he discovered a niche, he found a need and filled it.

Steve Pavlina gets $1,000 per day with his personal development blog. There are many other individual blogs which rake in thousands of dollars per month.

How about you? If you’re trying to copy the fix clogged drain guy, there are still hundreds of how to fix clogged things available. Clogged canals, clogged noses? :>) Oh, by the way, he already got “how to fix a clogged toilet” Yucky! “how to fix a clogged bathtub”, “how to prevent another clogged drain” – a subniche?

You can try using the keyword tool and type in “how to fix”. I tried this and here are the results:

Fix credit - 8213
fix registry - 5362
Fix your credit report - 3453
Fix my computer - 3243
Fix bad credit - 2894
Fix credit score - 1650
Fix ipod - 1452
Fix a toilet - 1220
Fix slow computer - 910
Fix a leaky faucet - 813
Fix a playstation 2 - 785

Dozens more.

The numbers after each keyword is the number of searchers per month.

Got it now?

Find a need, find a problem, then offer a solution.
